Your location stays on your phone
Firing Order uses your phone's GPS only to read your speed and make the engine sound follow it. Your location is processed on your device. It is never sent to us or anyone else, and it is not stored.
Your account
You can use the free version without an account. If you create an account, we store your email address, your plan (Free or Premium) and your app settings (saved cars, engine choice, tunes, Dyno Room setups, units and volume) so they follow you to every device. Sign-in and account storage are provided by Supabase. We don't sell your email or use it for anything except your account and, if you buy Premium, receipts and important account notices.
Payments
Premium is sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record and handles payment, receipts and sales tax. Your card details go to Lemon Squeezy and its payment processors, never to us. We receive only whether your purchase or subscription is active, and a link to manage it.
Stored on your device
Your settings are also kept in your browser's local storage on your device, so the app works without an account. Clearing your browser data removes the copy on that device. Settings → Reset clears it from inside the app.
No ads or trackers
There are no ads or third-party advertising trackers. The app loads its fonts from Google Fonts and the sign-in library from jsDelivr, which receive your IP address when those files download, as with any website that uses them.
Deleting your account
Email us at contact@firingorderapp.com and we'll delete your account and its data. If you have an active subscription, cancel it first from Manage subscription in your account.
Drive safely
Set the app up while parked and keep your eyes on the road. Engine sounds are simulated. Obey all traffic laws and keep the volume at a level where you can hear sirens and your surroundings.
Names
Vehicle, manufacturer and tuner names are used only to describe the vehicles and builds a sound is modeled after or whose gearing you can select. Firing Order is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.
